Started watching this on Netflicks. It is a rare (unique?) comedy about 2 women in their 70s, dealing with a life crisis. The "sit" in the sitcom is that their husbands, long-time business partners announce that they are in love. And that the 2 women, played by Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are thrown together in their predicament, despite the fact they are very different people.
Not for those of delicate sensitivities (i.e. if you don't like the F word then this is not for you). But I think all credit to those involved for creating an innovate comedy about older women.
Tomlin is of course a brilliant actor. Fonda takes a few episodes to get her acting muscles toned up. But about half a dozen episodes in she's getting better all the time and I am having lots of belly laughs.
While you're at it catch Tomlin's newish film Grandma.
