Yes, he used to be Dougie Henshall but in recent years he's always called 'Douglas'. Must have more gravitas...

They introduce so many different characters every week when I nip out to put the kettle on I miss a bit and then I'm trying to figure out who they all are for the rest of the episode.

I enjoyed it tonight. I felt I could not nip out anywhere as there was something going on all of the time. I do record it as well just in case. I think I know what is going on now, well almost.

Don't tell me! Only got the first 5 mins before I had to retrieve dgs from a sleepover because he wasn't feeling well. It's recorded for viewing tomorrow instead. Dgs now asleep in our bed and DH relegated to spare room.

Kept nodding off - but wanted to watch it! Will get it on catch-up tomorrow. Woke up with a start to find DH watching something horrible about murderers in a Polish prison....

We watched last week's (for the second time) immediately before this week's. It really helped! I do hope Tosh isn't dead!

I love it, it's our very own bit of non-Nordic Noir! I think there's another goodie starting tonight, possibly on BBC4?

Trapped, I think it is Icelandic. Looked ok to me so will give it a go. Though I do miss sunny Sicily.

Trapped, set in Iceland. More Nordic Noire. I'll take a look. There's a series of mysteries by Michael Ridpath, set in Iceland - Fire and Ice - which gives an interesting portrayal of Icelandic culture, mythology and scenery.

I'm really enjoying Shetland. I think I've watched it before but didn't find it as gripping as this series.

I'm also very much enjoying Vera. I think Brenda Blethyn is great in the part and it's a strong cast all round.

I am enjoying both also.
