Thank you! smile

Durhamjen and Jusnoneed were right. It was disallowed because it was a proper noun, which Richard had said at the start. Harsh, but rules are rules.

Grannyknot Fri 12-Feb-16 19:28:16

jings it could be that.

Jalima Fri 12-Feb-16 19:27:36

I bet sherbert scored about 95 (or was that not allowed either?)

Grannyknot Fri 12-Feb-16 19:26:22

No, elegran it scored 100 as "incorrect". I can only think 're the silent "t" but that doesn't seem fair.

Was it out because it was too popular to be listed among the low-points answers? I've not watched Pointless for a while, but the answers that come straight into your mind are not the ones that win.

Clever answer and I'd guess pointless if allowed. dj proper nouns have been allowed in the past. hmm

jusnoneed Fri 12-Feb-16 18:50:43

I think it's because it's a proper noun, a one off, unique capitalized name.

durhamjen Fri 12-Feb-16 18:48:08

Proper nouns not allowed?

granfromafar Fri 12-Feb-16 18:40:35

I missed it but wanted to watch it on iplayer. Can only find episodes shown in January or earlier! If I can find it and watch it I'll let you know the answer.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 12-Feb-16 18:33:13

Wasn't watching but perhaps it had to be English words. Camembert would be French.

Grannyknot Fri 12-Feb-16 18:29:52

I came into it late - why was camembert not allowed for words ending in ...ert? It's driving me nuts not knowing!

Thanks in advance smile
