Lackey Turner was on a radio 4 play the other week and really good on that too!

I really liked Shabnam and am sorry she is leaving. I like her whole family in Enders. I also think she is a good actress. (Lacey Turner is brilliant, always has been). Not sorry to see the back of Jade, that child really couldn't act. I agree that the way she was moved from pillar to post was unrealistic, would hope so anyway. Do hope Kush stays, nice to look at!

and off on another tangentwot my husband's excuse for not doing a job "neither wise men nor fools can work without tools" Sorry! back to East enders, as you will all know we watch regularly, and I am amazed that the producers could even think that children could just be 'handed over'. from one person to the other.

Although, as my mum used to say, she said, going off on a tangent, "it's a bad workman who blames his tools!"

I think Stacey s acting is brilliant too! I think it's her expressive eyebrows. have a look at ,email next time she's on! And she's very pretty.

Agree about Stacey/Lacey Turner. Amazing acting.

ninathenana Sat 06-Feb-16 09:55:52

Yes, I know that it was the actresses performance not Shabs or Martin, Stacey. Sorry, badly worded.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Feb-16 09:54:42

Pittcity don't go there! grin It was totally ridiculous. Especially after reading posts on Gransnet where we got the true picture of the hoops grandparents have to jump through to be allowed to have the care of their own grandchildren. hmm Made me a bit cross, that did.

The "I divorce thee" bit was slightly prolonged. And a bit too snotty.

ninathenana Sat 06-Feb-16 09:53:10

I liked Shabs, I never noticed that ger acting was worse than anyone else in the programme. Martin seems to have only one expression lately"caught in the headlights" I agree Stacey has been brilliant.
grumppa shock

I liked Shabnam. I'm sorry she has gone. It sound as though she will be coming back. I suppose they are going to develop the Tracey, Arthur, and the two blokes/fathers whose names escape me at the moment.

I got thoroughly sick of her. Thought she'd never actually go! Kush and his monobrow is a huge turn off for me I'm afraid. I'm much more impressed by Stacey's acting and Jade's understandably cheeky personality. What a life that wee girl's had.

Pittcity Sat 06-Feb-16 09:43:04

Kitty I certainly wouldn't leave him wink

granjura Sat 06-Feb-16 09:41:50

So did I- I really liked the complexity of her character and the mistery of her past, and the conflicts between cultures, etc. Much more interesting than most on Denders.

I thought it was all a bit quick, especially the handing over of Jade. Surely Social Services take ages on these things?

Somewhere along the line I got to like her.

grumppa Fri 05-Feb-16 22:34:46

Come back Shabnam, one of the few likeable Eastenders. Has she secured a booking on the next Bake Off?

kittylester Fri 05-Feb-16 21:32:35

I don't know how she could leave Kush!!

rubylady Fri 05-Feb-16 21:31:03

How long did it take tonight for Shabnam to leave Eastenders? I've grown old in the process. I didn't like the woman, she seemed a poor actress and couldn't get her words out properly. But thankfully she has left and I do not have to endure her poor performance while watching other actors and actresses who can deliver.

Is there anyone who you have been glad to see the back of in a programme?
