I have been enjoying this show until the latest episode which I thought was really weak. The Middleton sketch was just unpleasant.
I like the Merkel and Camilla impressions and the man who uses the coffee shop as an office but the topless politician makes me cringe.
She is a talented impressionist but simply repeating the Maggie and Judy scenarios every week is just padding out the show. I won't be bothering to watch again.

Not for me!
A bit repetetive but does have the odd moment!

We just can't get over how good the Angela Merkel impression is and love the daft things Tracy gets her to do.
The topless lady politicians sketches just didn't work. Sadly a sketch is either funny or it isn't. They weren't.

I thought Carole Middleton was funny, curtseying to George, and George was good too!

I'm beginning to warm to Carole Middleton. grin

I fell about laughing at the Camilla sketches, and also Angela Merkel.. brilliant, I thought.

I thought it was better this week - or maybe I've just re-adjusted to the slightly old-fashioned format. I agree that the Camilla sketch was very funny.

It doesn't make me laugh. I just sit there thinking, Really?! And wondering.

Does Angela Merkel really have a woman in black following her around? Like the Queen?

George was very good. As is the young girl who dances around with Ullman at the start of the show.

I really liked Tracey Ullman when she was on TV here and looked forward to her show but I agree with AA Gill it was stuck in the past and not funny now.

I love her Camilla grin

Brilliant series so far.

I thought the impressions were brilliant but the humour was rather poor. I wonder if she's lost her touch with a British audience. I kept thinking that French and Saunders could have done the same sketches and been much funnier.

I might be in the minority but I came to the conclusion a few years ago that straight forward impressionism...Mike Yarwood etc has pretty much had its day...is was amusing to watch and recognise characters in the 70s, 80s even 90s but its just not that remarkable nowadays.

Eloethan Tue 12-Jan-16 16:56:00

I think she is very clever but the programme seemed to be such a mish mash of styles and characters that it didn't really hold my attention.

I must admit I was a bit disappointed, although loved her Judi Dench, Maggie and Angela Merkel and used to find her hilarious but not so this episode the sketches were a bit short and thought the Karen sketches and the one with the aromatherapy massage were awful, I'll watch another one see if it improves.. but I don't hold out much hope..

'Judy Dench' character was shoplifting with a bag that I have just been given as a present!

I'm worried about taking it out now!

No, not Alzheimers, but she committed suicide a few days later. Must point out, I'm not knocking the sketch [which I found funny] but it just triggered the memory and saddened me sad.

Tegan Tue 12-Jan-16 16:11:04

Only one slight thing concerned me about the sketch [and that's just down to me] and it's the memory of [I think] Isobel Barnett being prosecuted for shoplifting when [again I need to google it to see if I'm right] she was suffering from Alzheimers.

Judi Dench will think it is hilarious! She has a great sense of humour.

merlotgran Tue 12-Jan-16 15:11:12

I was really pleased to see her back as well. Loved her Judi Dench and Angela Merkel.

Tegan Tue 12-Jan-16 15:09:22

I must watch it. She was so funny on the Graham Norton Show. Didn't realise that The Simpsons started on one of her shows. I saw the Judi Dench clip on TGNS.

I am so glad Tracey Ullman is back. She is so talented. We loved her show - it was so funny and her impersonations were spot on. Can't wait for the next episode; she was brilliant. What did everyone else think.?
