Just too scary for family viewing (well I'm scared anyway!)

I have never liked that sort of thing - OH wanted it on but I thought the bits I saw were rubbish - the Hulk was better!!

To say that this was on at 6.30 unbelievable, way too early, 8.30 more likely.
It wasn't badly done though.

It was hyped as a family drama! Just hope my DGSs weren't watching.

Family? Well, parents and teenagers I suppose, but NOT children.

I didn't bother as the trailers indicated it was going to be a travesty of the original story. Why do they do this? Even Doctor Who is unwatchable by most children these days...hmm

I hope the grandchildren were not want watching that. Totally unsuitable for that time of day.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt this was a bit strong for early evening entertainment. I had a Mary Whitehouse moment when the trailer for The Prey came on in one of the advert breaks - that was definitely not pre-watershed material.

Welshwife not just me that was reminded of The Hulk then smile
DS wanted to watch it. I won't bother with the next episode !
Definitely an inappropriate time slot.

It looks as if it could develop into something quite entertaining. Definitely Hulkish and nothing to do with the original. It's difficult at the moment to work out goodies and baddies and I'm finding the characters a bit muddling.

I'm keeping an open mind.

And I agree it's on too early. Definitely for older children.

I enjoyed episode 1 but it is totally inappropriate for this time of day. In times gone by it would have been given an X Certificate at the Cinema.

It has been written by Charlie Higson who writes some pretty scary books for Teens, called The Enemy series. The books are worth reading if you like to be scared witless grin

They have had several hundred complaints. Even 8.00 wouldn't be too bad.
