The original one is full, having reached 1,000 posts shock, so I thought we could start again!

Mumsnet's Archers thread has been doing some research on boarding schools that take children as young as five. It seems you really have to look around to find one (and who would want to? hmm)

I'm beginning to think he'd be better off away from such a horrible home environment. sad

LullyDully Fri 18-Mar-16 13:41:54

Surely 5 is too young for boarding school.

Gracesgran Fri 18-Mar-16 08:43:51

She promised she would tell Pat though so could she tell Tom? I think she should ring a help-line and get some information. I am sure they would tell her she should tell someone.

NfkDumpling Fri 18-Mar-16 07:51:00

But Kirsty promised.....! How long can she hold that promise.

HannahLoisLuke Thu 17-Mar-16 21:54:10

A tiny chink of light at last but what can Kirsty do with it? Even I felt terrified that Rob and Ursula might return and catch Helen talking to Kirsty.
We need some relief now!

LullyDully Thu 17-Mar-16 20:48:55

Please.....had enough now.

merlotgran Thu 17-Mar-16 20:12:48

If I were Kirsty I would try and get some professional advice without revealing Helen's identity.

Helplines? Doc Locke?

I hope we're all climbing aboard the endgame now.

Nelliemoser Thu 17-Mar-16 19:29:37

Kirsty! Talk to Tom about how worried you are. Please! You don't have to mention the stuff about her "assault" on Rob. Helen is at risk.

Gracesgran Thu 17-Mar-16 19:21:40

Just a chink, but at least someone knows.

NfkDumpling Thu 17-Mar-16 19:19:36

Go Kirsty!

LullyDully Thu 17-Mar-16 13:55:00

After the programme on domestic violence on Monday I am worried for Helen's safety. The physical violence is starting and there is a definite escalation.

One woman on the TV programme was beaten black and blue to within an inch of her life. She cried bitterly at the trial because she still loved him so much!!

I think the authenticity of Helen's situation is gained by the slow, slow building of the story line. I have had enough but some women have to live with men like this daily. Their choice seems to have been taken away by the psychological bullying. Dreadful.

AyjayF Thu 17-Mar-16 12:38:24

Will Fallon comment, maybe to Kirsty that the Rob/ Helen incident was a bit strange? She must have noticed

pinkwallpaper Thu 17-Mar-16 11:36:04

What does it say in radio times? I have to wait till I get paper on Saturday. Only wantvtonlisten when Helen puts up a fight and exposes him. Any chance?

Elrel Thu 17-Mar-16 10:43:11

Chloe - 'recaptured' is about right!

Nelliemoser Thu 17-Mar-16 10:40:55

Yesterday was very scary.

The Radio Times on Good Friday has a tantalising comment about Helen.

Yes! we get our Radio Times by subscription, it arrives on a Tuesday and
the first thing I do is to read the weeks very brief synopsis of each days Archers episode.

Hooked? Me?

chloe1984 Thu 17-Mar-16 10:34:29

Oh goodness last nights episode was haunting I found myself urging Kirsty to get back from Borchester before Rob recaptured Helen. I think there will murder done and a body or two will be discovered at the Bulls annual Easter egg hunt. But I am still puzzling about Cursula's role in it all and as for Pat shock what Mother would just be happy to get involved when her son-in-law says she should,it's not as if she has known him for years and all of a sudden she is happy not to see her grandson and find out how he is progressing at school especially as he has had an upset.

NfkDumpling Thu 17-Mar-16 08:21:33

I think I shall have to stop listening. I woke up last night worrying about Helen!

Iam64 Thu 17-Mar-16 07:25:26

It was chilling wasn't it. No wonder she's losing herself.

Elrel Thu 17-Mar-16 01:01:26

Very unpleasant scene in Helen and Rob's bedroom, no wonder she sleepwalks having to share a bed with such a nasty piece of work.

grumppa Wed 16-Mar-16 20:56:44

And it's a school day so they can't take Henry as a hostage. They're probably checking out cut price private asylums....

Iam64 Wed 16-Mar-16 20:56:27

I'm sure it is the boarding school trip. Helen is disappearing

Canarygirl1 Wed 16-Mar-16 20:55:16

Someone on the "other place" mentioned that the trip out tomorrow could be to visit boarding schools for Henry. Will Helen stand by and allow him to go away without a fight?

AyjayF Wed 16-Mar-16 20:38:47

He + Ursula are off on a jaunt tomorrow. Maybe chance for Helen to get out.

merlotgran Wed 16-Mar-16 20:30:57

I think Rob is getting to the 'give him enough rope' stage now. Talking sharply to Helen in front of Shula, who I'm sure still has doubts about him, Bossing her about in front of Fallon, arranging for Ursula to turn up in the nick of time so she can't meet Kirsty and then being so full of himself he forces himself on her.....again. angry

Helen is beginning to fight back and he's too arrogant to spot it.

Iam64 Wed 16-Mar-16 20:21:43

Oh No just when you think it can't get worse…..
