Most annoying TV presenter?

I recorded a few of ITV daytime's 'Guess this House' for 'rainy day' watching. As well as the non-grammatical title, Saira Khan the presenter is so intense, false and loud that I have no desire to watch more than the first episode, so have deleted the rest. As a previous Apprentice contestant, she is meant to be intelligent, but even her pronunciation of (H)aitch irritates me.
Who would you choose as your most annoying presenter?

Keith Lemon - can'tstand men acting like 12 year olds
Naga Muncheti - woke up to her horrible laugh this morning and I'm now in a bad mood.
Russel Brand - another 12 year old with a very high opinion of himself. He's an idiot really.

they are all annoying, I haven't seen anyone I like for a long time.

Yes, I used to like him but he has becomer very unctuous!

DD2 still thinks he is wonderful, so that's OK!

Ana Fri 21-Aug-15 20:14:25

He seems to have become like this since being declared a 'National Treasure' - he was great in earlier acting roles, playing Jeeves as well as that solicitor bloke. Bursting out of his boots now, perhaps?

Ana Fri 21-Aug-15 20:09:50

Unctuous and fawning...grin

rosequartz Fri 21-Aug-15 20:08:40

Ooh er, there's posh for you! grin

Obsequious too!

Ana Fri 21-Aug-15 20:05:48

Oleaginous!

I listened to Vanessa (Phelps?) this morning on the car radio.

I thought what a nice, light voice she had, with distinct pronunciation. Then I, well DH actually, started to get fed up and switched her off because she kept on and on and on about one particular subject, which was important but affects a very small minority.

Stephen Fry was great in that programme where he played a country solicitor, but as a presenter is too .... what's the word?
Oh, what's the word? Ingratiating?

RavensCroft17 Fri 21-Aug-15 19:49:08

You are all wrong it's Susanna i love myself Read!yuck

AnnieGran Fri 21-Aug-15 19:14:51

I'll whisper it quietly in case he is a special case who only attracts adoration, but - nobody has mentioned Stephen Fry yet. Is he a sacred cow or does he irritate anybody else?

Nanajaws Fri 21-Aug-15 11:51:00

I agree Ana - add Kirsty Wark, Anne Robinson and Keith Lemon to my list, plus Tony Blackburn and Peter Andre. Chris Evans is great on radio but I don't like watching him on TV.

The 'experts' on the Antiques Roadshow and Flog It, especially the one who does the glass on AR when he twirls someones precious object around like a circus performer.
The patronising way they ask people 'do you know what it is',,,, have they never heard of the internet.
Then whats his name the presenter on Flog it who asks someone who has just sold something for 20£ what they are going to do with the money ?????
Put it towards the cost of the petrol and the hotel to attend the auction perhaps.

Anniebach Fri 21-Aug-15 11:32:00

Esther Ranzen

Ana Fri 21-Aug-15 10:48:51

Kirsty Wark!

Ana Fri 21-Aug-15 10:48:25

I find Kirsty Walk irritating, her voice grating, and she takes the prize for worst-dressed woman on tv in my book!

henetha Fri 21-Aug-15 10:21:43

This is fun, isn't it! I like lots of those mentioned above, but my personal dislike is reserved for Keith Lemon, -who on earth would want to invent a character like that??? Also, Anne Robinson who is so sneering. Also, she is the worst dressed woman on tv, i.m.h.o.

Nanajaws Fri 21-Aug-15 09:03:32

Jonathan Ross, Jeremy Clarkson !!!!

kittylester Fri 21-Aug-15 08:03:14

Jane McCubbin (?) on Breakfast and some chap on the One Show who seems to be a very determined Liverpudlian. There is someone called Emily on the East Midlands news who drives me dotty!

I'm not intolerant, you understand! grin

Keith Lemon. Being rather nosey I used to love Through The Keyhole and, although Lloyd Grossman's voice could be annoying, I still enjoyed it. Looking forward to it's return I tuned in and could only stand about 15 minutes of that terrible Keith Lemon. I know lots of youngsters find him funny but I really can't stand him.

teddybeardoctor Thu 20-Aug-15 18:56:53

KEITH LEMON.....aaaagh!
Chris Evans....blurggggh!!
Lowry Turner, definitely. There is a website named , something like, Lowry Turner the most evil woman in the world. But I think that's going a bit far.
Anne Robinson & bl**dy Gloria Hannaford. They are both SO sneering and patronizing...eeeeeaaaaargggghh!

vickya Thu 20-Aug-15 18:49:56

I agree about loving Naga Munchetti and Charlie Stayt. Bill Turnbull and Louise are OK, also Steph and also but really can't stand Sally Nugent or Carol let's just hear about the weather in Scotland. She has too big a slot each time. I have to switch to ITV.
Jeremy Clarkson is awful,or was, and yes Paxo is unpleasant to the students. The new breakfast person, Victoria? Is good, two older ones, don't know names, seem second-rate. Alice from London is great. All the breakfast London ones are.

Maggiemaybe Thu 20-Aug-15 18:37:01

Oh no, I hadn't noticed the mention of Jeremy Clarkson - I can't abide him either.

Maggiemaybe Thu 20-Aug-15 18:34:31

Oh, I agree, Keith Lemon and Lorraine Kelly - yuck! I quite like everyone else mentioned. I must be easily pleased! smile But I really don't like professional Yorkshireman Parky, especially when he's flogging insurance.

granfromafar Thu 20-Aug-15 17:31:10

I'm with auntbett and hattie as I can't abide Keith Lemon, especially the way he speaks. He's advertising something at the moment (phone network maybe?)and I wouldn't buy anything he advertises on principle!

Anniebach Thu 20-Aug-15 17:23:56

I so agree Bruce Forsyth hogs the limelight
