Did I hear Vince Cable's name mentioned? I believe he is a very good ballroom dancer. Or has he already been on? I'm getting confused now.

Well Kitty I have experience of 3 friends or acquaintances who married men a lot older. Two of them had husbands who were very sparky and were trying to prove something, not quite sure what, but they were obnoxious.

My other friend who had come from an unhappy marriage is now at the age of 66 married to someone who is 47 for the last 10 years, they are idyllicly married. He nursed her through bowel cancer and proved to be her soulmate. Sorry your DD has had a bad experience.

Back to SCD I never know who half the contestants are either.

I agree NanKate but I'm biased - the Idiot is 24 years older than DD and our experiences tend to colour our judgement!

Feetle I have just watched Milonga and was mesmerised they were so in sync.

Yes perhaps it was a bit unfair of me to criticise the chap in the earlier video as being too old.

I have to admit when I see Michael Douglas with Catherine Zeta Jones together I feel a bit uncomfortable - it's just me being rather ageist.

I don't know most of the celebs any more either, but I don't really care any more as we get to know them as the weeks go by. The show was in the doldrums for a while, but it's picked up again the last few years.

Never heard of either of the two women, but then I stopped watching soaps when I retired. I stand a chance of recognising any of the casts of Casualty or Holby.

Kellie was Paul McGann's daughter in The Upper Hand years ago too. I might remember her when I see her!

So far none of the three were mentioned in the rumours, so the BBC has done well with the secrecy this year. When each celeb goes for their medical they find out their secret name. It's Disney characters this year and Jeremy was Nemo!

I did hear that the guy who plays Sean (Anthony Cotton) in Corrie was high odds to be in it this year, although I did hear Michelle Keegan's name mentioned too. Can't imagine 2 Corrie related dancers though.

I wonder if they will invite Vanessa Feltz to join the show, as they usually include someone with large dimensions. This is not a criticism just a statement.

Was on a cruise in May which yappenedvto have a Strictly theme. Craig, Iveta, Tristan, Kevin and Karen were on board at various times. The two Strictly shows and the competition for passengers were all fab.
