I'm enjoying this year because I actually know who most of them are.

I think Anton let Katie Dereham down with poor choreography. This is his chance to show what he can do and he didn't!!

Is Tess pregnant?

I've a feeling that Anton is so used to having poor partners that he doesn't give Katie challenging enough choreography. Perhaps he learnt his lesson tonight. She certainly deserved better.

I agree anno he is not used to be given a partner who does not act like a sack of potatoes. Hopefully they will be back next week.

Jay was fabulous, I was sorry that I had not recorded it because I would like to see it again. I suppose I can watch it on iplayer.

Jay was amazing, he looked like a professional when dancing - but seemed shell shocked by the praise - quite endearing.

I decided to give up watching SCD from tonight as I cannot take all the daft chat. Anton is the only one who makes me genuinely laugh.

I shall follow your comments each week and enjoy Virtual Strictly through your comments. There is a vague possibility that I will watch the Final.

Anya - IS Tess pregnant? If so, I hope she takes a long pregnancy leave! Oh, hang on though. Didn't she have a falling out with her husband? Are they still together?

I agree about Darcy's scoring of Jay's jive - why wouldn't she award a ten even in the third week? Seems a bit daft to me.

NanKate - do what I do. Sit with the remote and just turn the sound down on the chat. I agree, it is most annoying, particularly the rubbish they show about the training, and I wish they would concentrate on the performance.

NotToo I had a phone call half way through Strictly and hit the pause button. When I glanced back at the screen her stomach looked very rounded. Perhaps, if there's been husband trouble, she just been comfort eating.

Or perhaps my TV needs sorting as I though Pasha looked distinctly tubby in his GI costume

I looked on Youtube and found Jay doing his jive it was brilliant.

Anya I didn't notice Tess but I thought Pasha looked a bit tubby too! I used to like him but I think I'm going off him a bit now

I'd just like to point out that way up there ^ I mentioned that I fancied Jay (as a good dancer!) - just saying!

Jay's dance was brilliant, in fact I voted for it. But after 6 years at a dance academy, it certainly should be so not sure the surprise on his face was wholly genuine.

librarylady - Jay has had six years at a dance academy? Is that so? Seems a bit unfair then and I may have to revise my enthusiasm for him.

Been googling and it appears he did attend a prestigious dance academy for many years. The look on his face was not surprise then, possibly more embarrassment.

What a shame. I do think they should pick people with NO dance training or experience. Perhaps that's not possible with actor/musician/singer types?

I'm confused....I thought Jay had a haircut last week but his ponytail has re-appeared.

They did say on the programme merlot that it was a shame he'd had it cut the week before! Obviously he was wearing a 'falsie'!

It's the first time I've not seen any of it, not sure why but sitting watching the vote off tonight I really wonder how much longer it will go on. I don't even know half the contestants....perhaps I'm getting too old!
The judges are irritating me big time !

Kellie is another with a dance background. In fact she was teaching at the Sylvia Young Theatre School until she got the Eastender's part so no wonder she looks so professional - she is! I just wish she would stop screeching!

And Peter André must have had a lot of dance/movement coaching during his popstar days!
