Jeremy Vine is the first celebrity to be announced - will he be the first one off?

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 07-Nov-15 20:48:33

I like him.

Jane10 Sat 07-Nov-15 20:40:11

I agree with Anniebach about Peter Andre. He's so irritating. The 'nice boy' image must be worth a fortune to him. Cynical? Moi?

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 07-Nov-15 20:39:13

Loved it when Craig spoke about Jeremy's "little bottom"! grin

merlotgran Sat 07-Nov-15 20:37:39

Jeremy Vine makes me laugh and although I don't like Peter André I loved his charleston.

I think Carol will go this week as although she's been improving I think she has reached her limit.

Charleygirl Sat 07-Nov-15 20:36:31

I cannot stand Jeremy and tonight was no exception. I thought that Carol did her best tonight but she has a lot of catching up to do to be on a level with eg Anita Rani. I have a feeling that Carol may go but I would like to see her there another week. I hope that Jamelia is not in the bottom two yet again. She does not deserve it. I am a fine one to speak because I do not vote until the final.

Just looked up Peter Andre on wiki and I've gone off him. Anyone who can give a poor child the first name of Princess...........oh, dear, what a disappointment and he's so polite too............ sad

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 07-Nov-15 20:31:00

I like the music best.

NotTooOld Sat 07-Nov-15 20:27:39

Do you think Carol said she wanted to wear something that covered her arms? Don't blame her if she did. I loved the midwife's costume - those sparkly shorts and the floaty shirt. Jay looked quite bemused again and I don't think Aliona is misbehaving with him, I think she's mothering him! Peter Andre is so-ooo nice, so polite, and I'm not even a fan. I'm going to look him up on Wiki in a minute, see what his background is. Carol must be for the chop tonight - either her or Jeremy, although he did well tonight with his plastic horse.

Anniebach Sat 07-Nov-15 19:29:11

Peter Andre brings to mind Uriah Heep for me, if the judges said he was a disaaaaster he would say thank you

oldgoat Sat 07-Nov-15 19:00:37

Thank goodness Carole is wearing something pretty tonight. Think this might be her last appearance.

merlotgran Sun 01-Nov-15 21:16:43

I'm looking forward to the pottery challenge (or whatever they're calling it) grin

petra Sun 01-Nov-15 21:13:31

Can hardly contain my excitement waiting for the pottery programme.

LullyDully Sun 01-Nov-15 11:34:49

A few ...if not all...of the seasonal favourites are getting hacknied. Strictly, Apprentice, Bake Off, X Factor etc etc etc. However what would BBC and ITV do without them?

. Perhaps we need a nationwide contest to find a new formula. Any ideas? Pottery??????

I love all the costumes, hair and makeup on the show for Halloween, but I think tonight's show was one of the worst in years. The music choice for so many couples was atrocious, especially Carol and Pasha's Rumba.

The first year they had a Halloween theme it was brilliant, but the music fitted with the dances and the costumes. I think the producers have got it wrong in a big way ever since. The pros do their best with the song they're given and costumes they will be wearing, but I felt sorry for Carol & Pasha, Jeremy & Karen, Kellie & Kevin, Kirsty & Brendan and Katie & Anton tonight.

The only performances I enjoyed were Anita & Gleb, Helen & Aljaz and Georgia & Giovanni.

Charleygirl Sat 31-Oct-15 22:08:51

merlotgran may I join your DH's fan club? I agree with every word. It could have been done and dusted n 45 minutes.

merlotgran Sat 31-Oct-15 20:34:07

DH moans about the OTT costumes and the dancing time wasted at the beginning of each routine but I keep reminding him it's a family show and not just for grumpies grin

campodol Sat 31-Oct-15 20:29:14

am i just getting grumpy or does anyone else think all the dressing up is getting in the way of the dancing , really didnt enjoy it tonight and to me the judges are really thinking they are stars of the show....guess i wont be watching next week

Jane10 Sat 31-Oct-15 19:28:59

Judges being very tough tonight. Thought Anita was brilliant. Anti and Katie seemed fine to me but got slated confused

Deedaa Tue 27-Oct-15 21:44:07

It was Esther Rantzen who said that every woman should have half an hour dancing with Anton!

petra Tue 27-Oct-15 19:16:17

I can't bear to watch Jeramy Vine, and as if it couldn't get any worse, this week he's dancing the salsa to Thriller by Micheal Jackson. Soooo wrong on sooooo many levels.

2old4hotpants Tue 27-Oct-15 10:40:20

Oh Anton! Such a big headed chap but just so endearing with it. How I would love to be waltzed by him, to swirl effortlessly around the floor in his arms blush. Enough day dreaming, must get back to swirling the mop around the kitchen floorsad.

kittylester Tue 27-Oct-15 10:03:18

I don't like it either Lona because I worry one of the slebs will slip or catch their foot in the long floaty dresses etc. I know I would! blush

Lona Tue 27-Oct-15 09:13:03

Am I the only one who doesn't like the way they film the couples running up the stairs (to Claudia) with the girls boobs bouncing about? Really not necessary I'm such a grump these days thlgrin

Teetime Tue 27-Oct-15 08:06:42

No you are not the only one 2old and welcome by the way. We record the programme and fast forward so that we only see the dances and the scores. Love Natalie by the way - a wonderful dancer. smile

2old4hotpants Mon 26-Oct-15 22:22:48

Hi Annodmini. I’m fairly new, have posted a few times but you are my first responder, so thank you and it’s good to be part of this community. You and East End Granny are both right of course, but still it seems hard that obvious non-dancers are competing against those with considerable skill from the beginning.

I wonder if I am the only one who gets wound up by the “between dances” bits and the “please vote for us” bits to camera.
