I'm very much enjoying this, have had a liking for this type of music for years, even though it might be considered a tad before my time, BUT...
I keep getting distracted by the trousers of the male singers shock

Can no sewing persons (not sure about the political correctness of the terms tailors or seamstresses) get trouser length right? None of the poor chaps seem to be wearing trousers of the correct length! There appears to be excess fabric sort of crumpling down over the lower leg.

Did Frank Sinatra suffer from the same fabric affliction?

Their very shiny shoes make their feet look ENORMOUS

Loving the music though.

PS Jamie Parker was the main offender!

Loved the music too, but still having trouser worries confused

Preferred Jamie Parker's voice for all things Sinatra.

There's more! Not the Proms, but some pretty good stuff on BBC 4. (Not entirely sure about the inclusion of Captain Sensible and "Happy Talk", but hey ho!

Just heard "Come fly with me" as I type, so not all bad! smile

I love Seth Macfarlane's singing. It's been a high point of the Proms for me for the last couple of years.

Must admit I haven't noticed the trousers, I'll have to play it back and have another look.
