I read recently that this progamme has increased in popularity over the past few weeks, and that is not hard to understand is it? The scenery is lovely, the actors speak so that they can be understood and the story lines are simple, with good acting. I enjoy it every week, knowing full well that the murderer will be uncovered and the world put to rights!

The Poirotishness is a plus for me - if I miss a bit it'll all be explained at the end! grin

DH fancies her mother. Maybe it's the bar though. grin

Even DH likes it - and he hardly watches anything! It's so nice to see all that beautiful sunshine when we're in the middle of winter. And we both love the lizard grin

It is a bit Poirotish - let's gather them all together then the denouement (is that right?)

We enjoy the scenery and the stories but he's a bit annoying when he keeps on repeating all the facts of the case (as if he thinks the viewers are too dim to keep up). I don't think she will go for him. DH gasped with disappointment when she said she was going to Paris!

I enjoy it - escapism!

She loves him, she loves him not ....

I think she loved Ben Miller more.
I didn't think anyone could follow him but Humphrey is very endearing.

Love it!

Agreed, we both really enjoy it.

I just love it, old fashioned 'light entertainment', long may it continue.

There was a bit at the end where their boss is talking to him saying "she can't go to Paris if I say she's needed here" grin

I'm not so sure his love is reciprocated.

Oh shoot! shock

merlotgran Thu 22-Jan-15 22:15:09

She loved the last one and he came to a sticky end hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 22-Jan-15 22:02:45

Wasn't it lovely tonight? [sigh]! She won't go to Paris will she? I think she loves him. smile
