I remember being unsure at the end of the first series, and I am already slightly confused following tonight's episode. However, I was really looking forward to it, so I hope I shall be able to keep up. I need subtitles to help me!
What did others think of it so far?

Tegan Sun 15-Feb-15 19:53:59

He'd look far more stressed if it was him [unless he didn't actually know he'd done it]. We can, at least eliminate Ellie, Alex, Fred and the dog I think confused.

rosesarered Sun 15-Feb-15 19:39:13

I'm pretty sure that is not the answer!

Iam64 Sun 15-Feb-15 18:58:36

Oh No - poor Ellie if the gransnet detectives are right

POGS Sat 14-Feb-15 23:15:42

Precisely Moriati. grin

Mishap Sat 14-Feb-15 23:01:52

An interesting theory! That might account for the son's determination to go in the witness box to try and get his Dad off the hook.

POGS Sat 14-Feb-15 22:56:54

Ana

Yes that one.

POGS Sat 14-Feb-15 22:56:06

Ana

The son of the policewoman, his dad is charged with his friends murder!

I wish I knew their flipping names.! smile

Ana Sat 14-Feb-15 22:55:54

So, Ellie's husband's innocent but her son's the murderer?

Poor woman - she's going to need some serious counselling if that's the case sad

merlotgran Sat 14-Feb-15 22:50:42

That's my theory as well, POGS.

Ana Sat 14-Feb-15 22:50:21

confused even!

Ana Sat 14-Feb-15 22:49:51

Whose dad? [confusing]

POGS Sat 14-Feb-15 22:46:48

Oh hell.

I can't even remember a ruddy postman confused.

Now I am thinking, did the policewoman's son do it and his dad is covering for him hmm

rosequartz Sat 14-Feb-15 19:56:52

Yes!!

Ana Sat 14-Feb-15 19:51:31

Yes, I thought he was a red herring in the first series. It would be ludicrous if they dragged him up again now! Wouldn't it...? confused

rosequartz Sat 14-Feb-15 19:48:21

I have forgotten all about the postman.

Surely not him, that would be a bit of a cop-out.

merlotgran Sat 14-Feb-15 18:26:38

What happened to the postman?

Iam64 Sat 14-Feb-15 18:08:05

Yes and why is there so much evidence against him. I agree, the vicar is dodgy (well dodgy as some younger members of my family would say).

Mishap Sat 14-Feb-15 18:07:24

Indeed - that is a puzzle.

Ana Sat 14-Feb-15 18:06:21

But why did Joe Miller confess to the murder in the first place?

Mishap Sat 14-Feb-15 17:58:51

Phew! I think the vicar did it - but I suspect that is what we are meant to think. He was certainly very keen for Joe Miller to fess up and plead guilty and jolly upset when he didn't.

rosequartz Sat 14-Feb-15 17:53:35

POGS and I wrote it together, and now she's gone and given the finale away!! grin

grumppa Sat 14-Feb-15 17:31:12

Assuming the furnace was lit after the body was put in there, it would probably take more than Emilia Fox's team to find any evidence. Certainly the two dopey detectives wouldn't have found anything.

Tegan Sat 14-Feb-15 17:30:14

Can't; theyr'e on at the same time shock...

merlotgran Sat 14-Feb-15 17:15:08

Suspected??

Will Emilia Fox and her gang turn up next week?

Tegan Sat 14-Feb-15 17:09:22

Maybe she murdered everybody wink....
