I remember being unsure at the end of the first series, and I am already slightly confused following tonight's episode. However, I was really looking forward to it, so I hope I shall be able to keep up. I need subtitles to help me!
What did others think of it so far?

They're trying to throw too much stuff into the mixture resulting in more being less imo.

Why not a lesbian affair, everyone else it at it grin

PRINTMISS Tue 17-Feb-15 16:18:55

Yes, I wondered that Tegan was it entirely necessary?

Tegan Tue 17-Feb-15 11:42:29

And why the lesbian lover storyline???

Mishap Tue 17-Feb-15 11:26:31

Phew! - need a drink now!

Oh but it's quite obvious. The girl who is missing from Sandbrook murdered Danny because she was living in the caravan with Pauline Quirke and the dog and Danny saw her. She is actually PQ's other illegitimate child (half sister to Nigel) and PQ is now hiding her somewhere else. The vicar of course knows about the girl and is trying to get Joe to confess so she can make her escape.
See I can do these silly stories as well!!!!

I'm only interested in who killed Danny Latimer. I couldn't care less about the Sandbrook stuff.

PRINTMISS Tue 17-Feb-15 08:31:47

I find the vicar really odd, would not be surprised if there is another series!!! and he is guilty of all sorts of weird things. You see, I just do not know what is happening, so making up my own story line.

Yep, wished I'd watched John Torode in Argentina.

Tegan Tue 17-Feb-15 00:22:56

I'm getting really sick of watching it now...

I think she's become so used to the idea of his guilt, resigned even, that she can't contemplate what life would be like for all of them if he were to be found not guilty.

merlotgran Mon 16-Feb-15 22:39:16

Grrrrrrr!!!

All tonight's ending needed was the Eastenders Doof Doofs. angry

Why is Ellie so determined to have her husband found guilty?

Ana Mon 16-Feb-15 19:48:35

Not the last one though!

rosequartz Mon 16-Feb-15 19:36:07

Tonight
Tonight

Tegan Sun 15-Feb-15 23:41:33

You're just NOT concentrating hard enough....

merlotgran Sun 15-Feb-15 23:39:15

Oh well.....Another example of memory loss. hmm

Ana Sun 15-Feb-15 23:15:18

Exactly! grin

Tegan Sun 15-Feb-15 23:09:30

Cause Tom was relieved when the dog went into the caravan assuming that it was he who was turning the door handle confused....

Ana Sun 15-Feb-15 23:01:49

The dog's still here - he was the first one to go into the caravan when Pauline Quirke came back and found Ellie's son in there...don't you remember? grin

rosequartz Sun 15-Feb-15 22:49:04

The dog is the key to the whole thing ...

rosequartz Sun 15-Feb-15 22:47:58

The second series is just starting in Australia.
A young relative just posted that she hopes it will be as good as the first! hmm

merlotgran Sun 15-Feb-15 22:36:03

I can't remember what happened to Pauline Quirke's dog. confused

Ana Sun 15-Feb-15 22:33:14

The trouble is, we were led to believe it was all done and dusted at the end of the first series, so a lot of niggly loose ends were written off in my mind as 'just red herrings'.

It's quite hard work now trying to remember who/what/why unless of course you can be bothered to watch the whole of series one again! grin

rosequartz Sun 15-Feb-15 22:24:51

The son knows a lot more than he is letting on - why was he deleting stuff off his computer in the first series?
What happened to the boyfriend of Danny's sister? Or was he the postman?

confused now

Ana Sun 15-Feb-15 20:23:43

And probably the postman...(although you never know!)
