Anyone watched this. It is fascinating and yet so depressing to watch 16-17 old girls repeat the mistakes of their Mums and Dads. They, talk the talk about regretting their past but still stay in the rut.

Im always wary watching programs like this as the tv companies always seem to hype the program's up so it becomes watchable for their viewing figures and then you aren't watching the true facts...

There was an interesting juxtaposition of programmes about rich people and people on benefits. I watched the rich one and recorded the other.
The rich one was about people from the Tatler with women riding sidesaddle. The other one I got rid of after watching five minutes because everyone on it used the f word every sentence. I could not stand any more swearing. I am sure there must be some people on benefits who do not swear, but it would not fit the stereotype.

You could have balanced things out by watching Life is Toff, durhamjen grin

And then there's always Liberty of London, posh handbags for VIPs.
I wonder if they swear so much on there?

I was rooting for Shelby, but I knew I was being set up for a fall. Such a shame

There are so many of these programmes on at the moment, they give such a bad overall account of life on benefits, where as a couple of the girls my DD knows manage quite well with their families and feed them well within their limited budgets and try very hard to improve their way of life they also keep their houses clean & tidy.

I know what you mean but that doesn't make for good television. My Mum and Dad raised seven children on a very low wage. They were capable(Mum really)of stretching money. Many people just don't have the skills to manage at all.
