The Missing

It was very gripping but also quite distressing. I'm so intrigued though that I'll have to keep watching.

I watched it on catch up yesterday and found it gripping.

There was a quiet reference to something that happened in the past concerning the father and his FIL which will obviously have some significance.

I always feel a bit uncomfortable watching programmes about child abduction abroad since the disappearance of Madeleine McCann but I was soon caught up in the drama and James Nesbitt's excellent acting.

Something to do with a connection between the father (James Nesbitt) and his father-in-law, who must have been a judge (?)

Was the clue when the detective said the abductor it was usually someone the family knew? Is there a significant character who has not appeared yet? Time will tell. X

So many good reports about the series and I missed it [well, the start of it]. I've been thinking recently that all the BBC4 Scandinavian series have made programme makers in this country go up a notch to compete.

And me! I agree with Merlotgran, there will be twists along the way I feel.

It does look good but not sure I'll still think so after another 7 episodes not sure my interest will stretch that far but I hope to be proved wrong.

It's very good. I think there are going to be lots of plot twists. Looking forward to next week.
