Yes, it made me laugh too!

I thought last night's episode was the best one. Reminiscent of unsuccessful outings with some of my friends!

I thought last night's was rather good.

I like Boomers too. Gentle humour. Although it does annoy me intensely that it's supposed to be The west coast of Norfolk but they filmed it on the south coast and it's nothing like it. Why not set it wherever it is?

I too love purple.

But it looks like I'm the only fan of Boomers. DH and I have watched the series and loved it, laugh out loud stuff

But we detest Big School.

I wear a lot of purple too. I'd not thought of mascara though - sounds great!

I love purple Nankate it reminds me of when I was about 10yrs old, orange and purple was the in colours then, around 1971..

I wear everything purple Deedaa even down to lilac nails and purple mascara and do you know what I don't give a damn what anyone thinks - what a joy it is to get older and not worry about others' views.

I quite enjoyed last night's Boomers because it reminded me of the way DH never listens to what I say I want but always ploughs on doing what he THINKS I want!

Why are they such fuddy duddys though? If I'd been the Alison Steadman character I'd have been turning the music UP LOUD!!! and I wouldn't have worn that awful granny dress! And why doesn't she dye her hair! Mine is dark purple at the moment.

Am so disappointed it`s rubbish the cast are all top rate as far as I`m concerned but doesn`t make me laugh

Anyone who saw the last episode, what else has the black actor been in, I recognise him ? Very good physique with his kit off ! That should get you all watching the show.

mmm I have to agree, it is rubbish. I had high hopes for it because I like the main actress init, she is usually in things that I like.

I recorded last night's episode because I watched Bake Off Extra Slice instead. Sounds like I might be wasting my time to watch Boomers today. It has been disappointing, hasn't it.

Absolutely Eloethan, I really can't believe I actually sat and watched! What utter rubbish it was.

It's certainly no classic but I've found it mildly amusing sometimes. However, tonight's episode was just silly.

Bit late...it's already episode 4 and there was a thread about it which wasn't very enthusiastic.
