It actually made me cry at the end when the boyfriend led their distressed little girl back into her bedroom and then returned to his already badly injured girlfriend to batter her with an ironing board.

Hopefully any women watching that programme who are being subjected to a gradual escalation of psychological and physical bullying will make no more excuses for their attackers and will take steps to get out as quickly as possible.

I saw this Kiora. It was horrific but brilliantly acted. I believe it is the true story of a lovely young lady called Casey Brittle who, aged 21, was murdered by her boyfriend. I think a lot of her friends and family were interviewed to put the story together. The end scene was truly horrendous. Poor girl.

Perhaps that was the intention? I've recorded it.

No, I didn't watch it Kiora, but the title seems a bit odd, as though the poor girl was telling the story herself, from beyond the grave...

Did anyone of you watch the drama murdered by my boyfriend? On BBC3 It was harrowing to say the least but compulsive. The biggest shock was at the end when we were told it was a true story. We are told on news programmes that this kind of domestic abuse goes on but to see it portrayed so vividly was an eye opener. I would hope that the recent changes in the law protect the victim better. I only have praise for the directors and actors. Perhaps it should be compulsory viewing for young teenagers as a deterrent.
