dara you can tell from the programme that the whole team is extremely caring. Watching the other night, when one of the assistant vets was shedding years over a dog, it made me think - interesting how clinical staff do that for animals, but have to maintain composure when human patients die.

Sorry for the loss of your pet.

Noel is a lovely person. Unfortunately we lost our dog in May at his hospital despite his teams best efforts. Noel cuddled our dog with us while putting him to sleep. He walked us out to our car and hugged us both before we got into the car.

Superhero Supervet is back, fans! I caught a new episode on More4 the other night. Why that man has to walk around with his shirt off so much, I will never understand ... grin wink blush

I do like a hairy chest!

Yes, he does. Started that complex surgery on the kitty at near-midnight!

We need a what-a-man emoticon.

Sorry Grannyknot, stand back, I was first! Not that he has any spare time for us, as he appears to work day and night and lives on the premises.

shysal and all the other Dr Noel fans... get in the queue! I watched it for the first time tonight on catch up, and I'm hooked.

What a difference to that self-absorbed Dr Christian on Embarrassing Bodies.

I love him - cried like billy o last night ... wish they told us what happened to the ginger cat in the first episode though, after the open heart massage !

I know lots of doctors are, I didn't intend to sound quite so mean!

It's a very heartwarming program and he is wonderful. If only more doctors were like him!

I have just watched the last programme in this series. I love that man!! Vet Noel is my current favourite male on TV. Dedicated, a pioneer in his field, gorgeous, caring, and that lovely Irish lilt! [swoon emoticon]. Apart from all that it was also a fascinating documentary.
Does anyone else agree?
