Anyone else watching???

Ana Sat 12-Apr-14 21:31:20

NO!!! (on principle - sounds terrible)

merlotgran Sat 12-Apr-14 21:33:54

We're still stunned from watching the final act on Britain's Got Talent.

Sponsored by Tena Lady??

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Sat 12-Apr-14 21:34:11

I had to watch to see what it was all about. My companions are...um...not enjoying it very much and shouting at me to turn over!

milliesmum Sat 12-Apr-14 21:38:23

We thought it was an April Fool! Can't quite believe this is on prime time ITV. Be bad enough in daytime

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 12-Apr-14 21:50:21

It's the kind of thing that gave Andrew Marr his stroke! shock

Someone's gonna die!

glammanana Sat 12-Apr-14 21:57:42

I can't believe I have just watched this for the last 20mins what a complete embarressment.

shysal Sat 12-Apr-14 22:13:55

Load of rubbish!

rosesarered Sat 12-Apr-14 22:15:55

Tell me what this is about? Obviously an 'old' act on tv but what exactly?

Ana Sat 12-Apr-14 22:30:08

Sorry, roses, but I can't bring myself to do it! It must be by far the worst idea that ITV have had for a long, long time (and that's saying something!).

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 12-Apr-14 22:32:08

Look - I only switched over to watch it when Cari popped up. Before that I was watching something else almost as crappy on BBC1.

merlotgran Sat 12-Apr-14 22:33:21

The Guess List was seriously crappy.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 12-Apr-14 22:36:56

Yes! That's it!

Agree wholeheartedly.

Ana Sat 12-Apr-14 22:43:55

It was indeed! Self-congratulatory crap!

petallus Sun 13-Apr-14 04:16:31

I haven't watched the prog because I found just the title patronising.

DebnCreme Sun 13-Apr-14 07:49:26

I thought 'the Guess List' was dreadful but this sounds worse if that is possible.

Grannyknot Sun 13-Apr-14 09:57:28

confused Do tell, please someone!

henetha Sun 13-Apr-14 10:54:23

I watched it while baby-sitting my 11 year old grand-daughter. She found it hilarious. Basically it was a series of challenges between young people and old people. Things like playing darts, weight lifting, mastermind, etc.
The oldies won, I think. (I nodded off a bit at the end)...
But we loved Britain's Got Talent.... fantastically entertaining.

henetha Sun 13-Apr-14 10:56:07

Oh, I just realised... I was talking about Amazing Greys. I didn't see The Guess List. (But I always like Rob Brydon; was he any good in this?)

Ana Sun 13-Apr-14 11:05:20

I usually like Rob Brydon, but there was TOO MUCH of him in this programme! It was billed as a quiz show, but I thought it a terrible mish-mash of personalities talking about each other and showing-off, RB's 'clever' quips and two contestants who seemed bemused by the whole thing! As indeed was I...hmm

Elegran Sun 13-Apr-14 11:55:41

I've not seen this, so I can't comment on the show, but whenever I see a programme listed which has a "clever-clogs" pun on a wellknown phrase or saying, I wonder whether the title came first and someone cobbled together a show to fit.

rosesarered Sun 13-Apr-14 20:30:36

I like Rob Brydon in 'The Trip' and also 'The Trip-To Italy' but not in much else. I have missed The Guess List and also Amazing Greys, but sounds as if I didn't really miss much.

ninathenana Mon 14-Apr-14 08:10:06

The trailers were enough to prevent me from watching The Guess List.
