This year I have been to our small local cinema 4 times and seen Philomena, Mandela, 12 years a Slave and The Railway Man. All good films but all quite harrowing.
Can anyone recommend a film where I and my friends can have a jolly good laugh !

The Grand Budapest Hotel is supposed to be a funny one, and opens next week. I'm hopefully going to see it on Wednesday, so I'll let you know.

Yes, should be good. I am planning on seeing that next week too.

We're going to be uncharacteristic 'early adopters' and see Grand Hotel on Friday, as soon as it is showing. I'll try to remember to put a brief 'review'.

I haven't seen it but lots of people have enjoyed America Hustle - plenty of feel-good singalong music and a daft story

I saw American Hustle recently MrsM loved the music, (so much so I would buy the soundtrack) enjoyed parts of the film too but was disappointed overall. A bit too mixed up for my taste.
