Live at the Apollo. Magic or muck?

Do you find this programme good or as un-funny and offensive as I often do? I like to think I am reasonably adaptable to most styles of humour, but sometimes I find that the young Apollo contributors serve up some very smelly old tripe under the guise of comedy. So I throw myself on the High Court of Gransnet, Your Honours, and plead for your guidance. Am I missing something?

Depends who's on it. Didn't see it tonight though.

Funny you should say that papascar; didn't watch tonights programme [although I love Rich Hall] but I watched one last week [it may have been a repeat] and found Dara O'Brien [I've never actually seen him do stand up before] and a couple of the others really funny, but another one [I don't know his name, unfortunately, but I think he's on Mock the Week and he's Canadian] incredibly offensive. So much so that it's still bothering me. And I'm not easily offended. This man just did a series of one liners [I'll try to find out his name].

...it was Stewart Francis...

Was Jack Whitehall on tonight? Didn't watch it. I think he's incredibly clever and funny half the time and unnecessarily crude and over the top the other half. Love watching him exchanging banter with his dad.

My grandsons teacher looks like Jack Whitehall. He's always so funny [Jack, not the teacher] even though he always plays the same character in everything he does. I've only just discovered him so I've got some catching up to do.
