Did anyone else watch Psycopath Night on Channel 4 last night. I think it may be repeated tonight.

Anyway, for those who are interested, the following test will show where you sit in the psychopathy spectrum!

Why did the questionnaire ask about puppies and kittens instead of cats and dogs? There's a world of difference. And would anyone seriously go for piruhana (sp)?

What about the "question only a psycopath can answer correctly"?

A woman is attending her mother's funeral and at the gathering for sandwiches and tea afterwards, she spends time chatting to various friends, family and neighbours and one or two people she doesn't know. These include a personable and friendly young man. The next week she kills her sister. Why?

janerowena Tue 17-Dec-13 18:23:29

I think I know* but I shan't say yet.

*My plea for my defense, m'lud, is that I read an awful lot of thrillers and whodunnits!

newist Tue 17-Dec-13 18:26:16

Thats the funny thing about my score, I am quite overly sensitive when I hear sad and moving things, But.... I do know if and when it comes to a survival thing, like, if I needed a job to say, feed my children, I would try to make sure no matter what I got that job. I trained as a chef in the 70s and nearly always got promoted to being Head cook or chef, because I was told I had good organisational skills, (or bossiness) I don't like toast tchgrin

I've done the test again and been absolutely honest this time. Last time I think I was people pleasing really.
This time my result was 67% and the summary of me was totally right.

newist Tue 17-Dec-13 18:29:36

The sister might of wanted the young man for herself, so she had to go.

whenim64 Tue 17-Dec-13 18:41:13

I've pm'd my answer to you, absent so as not to spoil the fun guessing.

Agus Tue 17-Dec-13 19:03:03

For the inheritance? Depending on who the young man was personable and friendly with, if it was the sister, she would have to go. The result being, the killer got her man and the money!

Elegran Tue 17-Dec-13 19:10:58

Because the young man was her sister's son, and she had children of her own who should get the inheritance? Or he was a brother she had never met, and her sister was the only person who knew that, and could stop her from having him?

A writer of soap scripts could probably come up with a dozen scenarios.

newist Tue 17-Dec-13 19:11:02

I have another reason to kill the sister, To go to another funeral, so she could meet the young man again, for no other reason than that

Ana Tue 17-Dec-13 19:35:27

newist! I'm getting seriously worried about you - you're probably right! tchgrin

newist Tue 17-Dec-13 19:45:26

Dear me, Flowerofthewest might read this and change her mind about visiting me in the summer. I am so looking forward to meeting her smile

whenim64 Tue 17-Dec-13 20:01:10

newist your thinking tells me you should probably be a criminal profiler! grin

whenim64 Tue 17-Dec-13 20:04:10

......you're not logging on from Holloway prison by any chance, newist? grin

newist Tue 17-Dec-13 20:06:18

Goodness No!! Flower wouldn't visit me there grin

whenim64 Tue 17-Dec-13 20:08:35

grin Well then, you've missed your way - being able to anticipate how a psychopath might think and act requires some stretch of the imagination! grin

newist Tue 17-Dec-13 20:15:34

It all came in very useful, surviving 2, not so nice marriages grin

Agus Tue 17-Dec-13 20:16:45

She did say she had a high score when! AND she does appear to be very knowledgeable on the subject! wink

whenim64 Tue 17-Dec-13 20:25:50

Most psychopaths I've come across only THINK they know a lot about the subject - one spent a lot of time enlightening me about why I would never get very far if I didn't broaden my mind about criminals. I had to smile as I was shown out of the jail he was spending his life in! grin

Agus Tue 17-Dec-13 20:28:33

grin

Sel Tue 17-Dec-13 20:48:44

Respect newist I was 58% - what a strange quiz confused

I agree too about the 'overly sensitive' comment of yours, me too but, when it comes to survival... smile

newist Tue 17-Dec-13 21:07:32

I also think if some of the GNetters, who did the test, did it again, and dug down, deep inside, thinking " what would I really do" some of the scores may be different hmm

whenim64 Tue 17-Dec-13 21:18:19

If that makes you feel better, *newist! grin

whenim64 Tue 17-Dec-13 21:19:13

Only kidding! smile

Faye Tue 17-Dec-13 22:58:07

Newist correct answer.... 19:11:02. I have asked many people the same question to that quiz and only two knew the answer.

I scored 9%.
