Good independent films to rent?

Spirit of 45 is wonderful - we gave it to our daughter and her (slightly) right leaning husband in the hope it'd get him to think on, count his blessings and remember just how lucky he is to have been born into a country with decent education and health service for all. Yes, I know it isn't perfect, but my parent's generation couldn't call out the doctor as they didn't have the half crown.

Thought of a couple more:
Mud - a modern day Huck Fin. Well worth a hire.
and
Boy - NZ film about a boy. Fairly strong NZ accents.

I have enjoyed the film 'Monsieur Lahzar' recently. I borrowed it from a friend so I do not know if it is available via download or rental..but probably will be.

Take me home was a quirky enjoyable film.
