I like The Hour, I need to catch up with this week's episodes. However, although it's good, I love Madmen more, it's one of the best shows to come out of America. It's annoying that it's been sold to Sky which I don't have, so I'm hoping someone in my family will buy me season 5 for Christmas.

I might well have missed any previous comments on this programme, but we saw the first series and enjoyed it, this last series has been just as good. A bit brutal, and we had forgotten about the 'landlords' who made life difficult for tenants. Some nice side-lines were introduced into the story, brought back memories of what life was like, although we were probably not as well informed then as we are now. The acting was we thought under-stated, giving a nice feel to the atmosphere of the time.
