Hmmmmmm as usual my initial response is what an odd lot. Fern Britten is a bit of fun but can't say I'm wildly enthusiastic yet. I still think Kara and Artem were the best ever.

I know what everyone means but at the end of the day it is a dance competition and sadly personality 'won't win it'.

I think it will be between Denise and Kimberley.

Wasn't it great to watch poor old Lisa go thud on the floor though. She was genuinely good fun and if you won for enthusiasm alone she deserved a gold medal.

Ana, I feel the same way. Denise comes over as super confident, and Kimberley`s voice just seems to drone on and on, Dani comes over as much nicer, and Lisa was lovely.

Ana Sun 16-Dec-12 22:13:22

PS - yes, I know it's about the dancing! grin

Ana Sun 16-Dec-12 22:12:36

I love Dani and Vincent, but I don't think they'll win. I just can't warm to Denise or Kimberley.

numberplease Sun 16-Dec-12 22:11:26

I`m really sorry to see the back of Lisa. Although she may not have been technically anywhere near some of the others, she was much more enjoyable to watch, because of her sheer enthusiasm. I am another who`d like to see Danni and Vincent win, but think it will be a straight fight between Denise and Kimberley.

Ella46 Sun 16-Dec-12 22:09:13

I don't know who I want to win at all, Dani is so good with Vincent, Kimberley is such a natural, but I love Louis, he is such a lovely lad!

annodomini Sun 16-Dec-12 21:53:13

I felt that Lisa had gone further than she really should have but once the judges had the final say, the right decision was reached. Thank goodness they reinstated the dance off this year.

Deedaa Sun 16-Dec-12 21:43:51

I thought Denise was stunning this week, better than ever! I suppose the Girls Aloud girl will win, she does dance very well but I'm just not interested in her - I fast forward through most of her stuff. I'd really like to see the munchkins win, but really it could be any off them. I've really enjoyed this series, like Len I actually knew who all the celebrities were for once.

Jodi Sun 16-Dec-12 21:27:12

Thank goodness Lisa has gone.

number I agree about Denise Charleston.

numberplease Sat 17-Nov-12 23:05:00

Hubby and I are nearly ready to come to blows over his support of Denise! I`m rooting for Lisa or Louis. Enjoyed tonight`s show from Wembley, but thought that Denise`s Charleston wasn`t really a Charleston but a novelty dance, needless to say, hubby didn`t agree!

annodomini Sat 17-Nov-12 22:29:48

Lisa is so popular that she's going to be hard to beat even if Denise gets better scores.

Ella46 Mon 12-Nov-12 09:43:06

Pud I love Richard and this is definitely his moment! He is like a little girl in a big pink tutu, jumping up and down with excitement!

PRINTMISS Mon 12-Nov-12 08:52:05

I am just a little fed up with the 'weepie' prima donnas - for goodness sake this is a COMPETITION if you don't dance well, you get voted out - that's what it is all about. O.K. so you've worked hard and would like to have done better and really want to win - but please don't cry about it, it just turns me off completely, and you certainly won't get my vote.

Pud Sun 11-Nov-12 21:01:41

Give it up for Richard people! Think he is a star, not likely to win but good entertainment.smile

numberplease Sun 11-Nov-12 20:43:44

I think that it was very hard to call this week, they all danced really well. Don`t know if the right one went or not, I thought, but may be wrong, that Kimberley teetered just a bit on one of their turns, but I`m no dance expert. I`d like to see Louis or Lisa win. Missed Brucie last night.

annodomini Sun 11-Nov-12 20:01:56

What? Kimberley and Pasha in the last two shock. Shows how right they were to bring back the dance-off. I felt last night that Fern's time had come. Sorry, Fern!

celebgran Mon 29-Oct-12 10:38:27

did see that in paper last week annodomini just kind of always liked her feel she came out of her marriage to Jagger with a lot of dignity and as said she was brilliant in west end play.

Grandola Sun 28-Oct-12 22:13:31

I agree with Numberplease, Lisa is brilliant. She works so hard and has great musicality, fabulous rhythm and she can so dance!! Plus she is dancing with the very gorgeous Robin wink.

annodomini Sun 28-Oct-12 20:53:52

So relieved that Colin is staying - he makes the show worth looking at! grin

Ana Sun 28-Oct-12 20:44:13

Claudia insists on wearing that pale lipstick that makes her look like a throwback to the 60s - she said once in an interview that she can't give it up! confused
Think it's a pity that Colin's partner is so tiny - he might look less awkward with a taller partner.

Ella46 Sun 28-Oct-12 20:40:35

I really think that it needs a shake up before the next series. I don't mind the judges, but the presenters all need sorting out.

Tess looks desperate, Bruce should go now, Claudia just looks too weird and Zoe speaks far too quickly!

There! That's what I think! hmm

numberplease Sun 28-Oct-12 20:34:53

Oh, but I LOVE Brucie, have done for donkeys years. My only complaint about the show, which I love, is that they very rarely have latin music for latin dances, they don`t ring true because of that.

annodomini Sun 28-Oct-12 18:57:13

Echo that, glitabo grin

glitabo Sun 28-Oct-12 18:50:34

I recorded Strictly and then watched it later but I used fast forward on Brucie's nonsense and most of the training bits. It was OK, but I think it has gone off the boil a bit this year. Mind you, I could force myself to watch Colin Salmon if I had to.
