The Thick of It...

Anyone watching the new series? Having watched a dire sit com on the Beeb on Friday night [by accident, I hasten to add; was waiting for Parades End to come on] I rejoice in the fact that there's something genuinely funny to watch again [although this Lilliside?[sp] programme later in the week looks promising]. Mind you I have missed the whole series of Episodes and keep missing Miranda as well, so it's probably my fault for not paying attention.

Forgot it was on - wonder if it's repeated?

I think it's on Sunday and repeated the following Saturday at 9.40.

Oh, thanks Crimson smile

Loved it. My perfect combination: politics and humour.

The 1st two episodes of the new series of 'The Thick of It' have not quite hit my funny bone. I desperately want it to be as good as the 1st series but it's a hard act to follow.

I really enjoy it. I would love to be an actor on that show, they must have a laugh.

I saw the 'resignation' episode and thought it was a bit over the top - more farce than funny.

I just want to write down the things they say; I think every sentence is a gem. They are all so evil, apart from the poor lady opposition leader.

crimson: You could but there would be an awful lot of **!

They can't outswear me, Frankel! I'm waiting for an engineer to 'not' turn up at the moment, having left work like the Marie Celeste to be back for 10 [when they were supposed to come]. To say the air is blue is a slight understatement wink.

Last night's episode was the last ever. Will you miss it, or do you think it has run its course?
