Did anyone watch this quiz show? BBC4 on Monday evenings. We thought we were doing very well if we got one question right during the entire 30 minutes, but it was nevertheless very enjoyable. Presented by Victoria Coren, I think my husband just watched it to see how tight her dresses could get!

Yes, I loved it and even played on line (never got much right grin ).
Is it coming back, have I missed it? shock

Yay! My favourite too. How they make some of those connections is a mystery but an entertaining one. But occasionally - just occasionally - I feel triumphant and shout at the TV 'Can't you see the connection, you idiot?' grin

I liked the board at the end. It was a good programme though I did find Victoria Coren's comments a bit forced on occasion; perhaps it's because she doesn't show much expression.

I love it too. I think Victoria is brilliant - rather cynical, but sharply witty. I love her brother, Giles, too. Their father was Alan Coren, who was a lovely, erudite and witty man. I sometimes manage to get the wall right, but the connections are usually beyond me!

Me too but at least it gets the grey matter moving!!

We love it . It's a really intelligent show for adults and makes you work your brain.

Love the show! We sit shouting out our ideas for the board..sometimes occasionally we get a few right!

P.S. Like the thought of Victoria Coren and David Mitchell as a couple smile

Victoria and David will make a great couple - can you imaging the banter a breakfast time!

Oops dreadful typing sorry.

I love Victoria Coren - she's always good on Have I Got News for You as well. Comes across as an intelligent young lady.

Bu**er!! I forgot! Thank goodness for iplayer!

I like the programme, especially the walls. I must be the only person who finds Victoria Coren deeply irritating. We fast forward through her bits. hmm

annodomini Tue 28-Aug-12 14:58:16

No, she is irritating - she so obviously thinks she's funny; but I do enjoy the programme as a challenge. Sometimes I find myself shouting at the contestants 'can't you see it's.....', but more often than not, I am completely flummoxed!

We love it - including VC! It comes after 'University Challenge' and 'Only Connect''s Wall at least gives me a chance to get something right, if only one line out of 8. Afterwards, I can relax and watch a recording of the speedway while DW [I assume that means Dearest Wife] disappears to watch anything else. Mondays are possibly the TV night of the week.
