Monty Halls

I have now watched my recordings of the first two programmes. He is a very likeable chap isn't he? I love the relationship between him and his dog, Reuben. I also enjoyed the Scottish series, and this one looks to be just as entertaining.

I am smitten with Monty and Reubs. If only there were more decent programmes of this ilk...

You do all know he has a girlfriend?...........mind you in a fantasy one can magic them away.

I saw them in Celebrity Cash in the Attic - how sad is that? He was much taller than I thought and scrubbed up very well!

He has a fabulous relationship with Ruben and this serie's is going to be so good I think.

What I like about Reuben is that he isn't one of those immaculately trained dogs that do exactly what they're told when they're told, but he's quite a free spirit who understands Monty perfectly.

He does seem like a very nice chap, I really enjoyed the last two series and all three series are coming out on DVD box set soon - www.montyhalls.co.uk/shop/product/view/28 He does have a girlfriend though!!

Monty Halls alert! New Year's Day 8pm on BBC2 - a one-off on the Great Barrier Reef. Presumably without Reuben.

He's back again tonight - in Cornwall this time, working as a fisherman. Just settling down with a cup of tea right now.

I'm having a cuppa, not Monty.

It kind of takes the gloss of even Monty when you watch (and, worse, hear) him being very seasick...
