ah thanks - we went last year and stayed in Porto Venere - so thought this time it would be nice to stay in Rapallo- as our cousin wants to do both Cinque Terre and Portofino.

The riviera dei fiori is beautiful, take the train which clings to the cliffs overlooking the sea. Its been too long since we were there last so sadly cant recommend anywhere. Enjoy. Its stunning.

so excited that our cousin from Tasmania and OH will be joining us on a trip to Italy in September. We will pick them up in Florence and go to the same place in the Tuscan Hills, near Pienza- where we go every year.

On our return, we plan to stop in Rapallo- to visit Cinque Terre and also Portofino. Does anyone have any recommendations for an apartment or nice but reasonable Hôtel? Grazie mille.
