Yes, spf!

Are you sure they are not age spots? If they are, try Boots No 7 cream specially made for age spots. Worked for me.

That’s what I was asking Puzzler but that would mean vitamin C plus moisturiser plus sunscreen plus serum plus foundation plus bronzer, blush and highlighter! Good grief.

I’m not particularly at risk, I have very easily tanned skin as did my mum but I don’t like these sunspots which have appeared. I definitely will use factor 50 on my face when I do sunbathe but my question was about every day?

What I am trying to say is that I think if you are at risk you would be very sensible to use a high factor.

Wrinkles are due to sun exposure but also have a genetic element to them.

Treat you skin with care.

I was unlucky to get skin cancer a couple of years ago - due the oncologist said to being burnt as a child. I am very high risk and always wear 50 factor winter and summer.

It must have both UVB and UVA. UVA being very important.

For maximum protection from the sun I think the sunscreen goes over moisturiser on your face Luckylegs.
You can buy it combined - I use a Body Shop one with spf 50 in the moisturiser.

I hope I’m not being thick here but I’ve always sunbathed and paid the price too! I’ve got an odd dark mark on my face and, despite not being in the sun at all for most of the last year, they’re not fading much. I know I should use creams with an spf all the time but I already own tons of creams of one kind or another and they don’t say whether they’ve got spf in.

I’m trying vitamin C serums and all the rest but I know it’s too late for the wrinkles etc. What I wondered was, should I use just ordinary sun cream under my moisturisers every day or is there a generic spf I should apply first?

I wandered about in Boots and Superdrug hoping to find a kind assistant to ask but chickened out so I’m risking asking here.
