Oh Dora Marr, I can remember always having a new "best" dress for Christmas when I was a child. When I got to about 10, I was allowed to choose from my aunt's mail order catalogue. I chose a royal blue shift dress, with a zip down the front and a stand up mandarin collar - only thing was that it was a wool mix so very itchy!
We have our annual Christmas meal tomorrow - I will be wearing my Christmas T shirt. Quite frankly don't care what other people think!
Last time I bought a Christmas jumper, I wore it to work and family meal (on the same day) washed it on a wool wash as the label said - it ended up twice the width and half the length!!!
