Has anyone found an under-eye concealer that doesn't sit in the creases?

Anyone tried YSL Top Secrets Eye Perfector?

I have used Hide the Blemish , formerly Hide n Heal , for 51 years .

I used to work for Rimmel and Hide The Blemish was their number one best seller.

Need to conceal mine, I’m in danger of being charged excess baggage next time I fly anywhere!!!!!

It cosmetics ‘bye bye under eye’ is very good ( available from QVCUK...and also Lancôme do a lovely under eye one, which is very moisturising. I always lightly powder, as too much powder can accentuate the lines even more, I find.

I subscribe to the YouTube videos of Dominique Sachse, news anchor at KPRC Houston.
She does interesting segments covering her out of and in work, life, including hairstyles, lots on seasonal make-up and she names the products and price points of everything she shows, much of which can be bought online and in the UK.
Videos also cover under-eye concealer and how to apply it for her job (cameras and lighting can be unforgiving) and off/ holiday time.
She also films family holidays, clothes, jewellery, bags, packing, shoes, de-cluttering and a million other topics. People can write in to ask her to cover a particular topic and it's an interesting informative blog.
She's 51 and mother of 1 son, step-mum to 5 others who all live together and her wedding is shown too.
Some GNers might find something to interest them in her videos which cover a myriad subjects including Q&As and she loves pre-loved and bargain buys.
The make-up tutorials are really comprehensive.

Have the same problem although I find that if I go back to it half an hour later, and just smooth it and gently tap it in, it looks better for longer. I’m going to try the lasting perfection one as well. As for eye liner...it’s a nightmare...I think eyes water more in the winter and with age, and that sets off running of the eyeliner. I’ve just purchased a revlon
one today and hoping for better. TBH I can’t afford to keep trying products and then not use them as I’m sure they’ve got more expensive.?

The BBC did a documentary in January - The Truth About Looking Good - that dispelled a lot of make up myths. I've just checked but, unfortunately, it's not on iPlayer any more.

It was a real eye opener and, as a friend of mine who works in marketing said, make up is all about selling hope. I can't help but feel we're being duped.

I can't remember if they mentioned concealers on the BBC programme, but the foundation that came out best was L'Oreal True Match - it's about £10 in Boots and Superdrug. It's brilliant. My local Boots has really good staff on the make up/perfume counter and helped me get the correct shade.

I treated myself to some LLF make up and, whilst it's lovely, I don't think there's any real difference from the L'Oreal foundation. I apologise to LLF but it's my experience.

I find the concealer sits in my wrinkles (I don't have many), despite following the LLF video tutorials step by step and using all the products recommended. Now I use it to cover thread veins, rather than under my eyes, so it's not wasted.

My DIL uses Boots Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, £4.19, which comes in 6 shades. I tried hers and it's brilliant on my skin. Finally I've found a product that works for me.

Jav I have had the same problem for years. My mum had the surgery where they remove the sagging skin from the eyelids and she could wear perfect eye makeup into her 80's. I think it is from the eyelid rubbing over itself and the liner. I have resorted to just using liner (pencil or liquid) before I go out for an evening, or an event and not caring if/when it disappears. However I'm intrigued by some of the suggestions on this post, so will follow and take notes!

I have used the Rimmel one for years too. Does the job, and not expensive.

The one I've used for years and years is Rimmel Hide the Blemish in Natural Beige, it completely hides my dark lines.

I find Marks and Sparks Autograph Ultimate Wear eye primer is just right for me. Use a tiny amount on your eyelid and on the under eye area. Also,obviously, a good eye shadow base.

Boots No7 Instant Radiance Concealer will answer all your problems

YSL Touche Eclat is the absolute best but Clinique and Clarins do very nice ones to. Bobbi Brown has a neat little palette for a more detailed approach to concealing. I'm going to try this one next time now my Clinique one has run out.

Mo I think it helps if you put a little under eye moisturiser on, and leave it for a few mins and then apply your concealer.

Yes Jav I think it is, but I find the pencil kind last longer than the creamy kind of eyeliner.

I was really interested to see this question posted. My eyeliner seems to melt away. It doesn’t matter which make I use ! I’ve spent hundreds of pounds on eyeliners from the cheapest to expensive brands and although some do sit a bit longer than others, none last the day through like they used to! MAC seem to last a bit longer!
Do you think it’s heat ... as in body temp ?

I have used the Look Fabulous Forever concealer for a few years now since being introduced to it by Gransnet. I would thoroughly recommend it.
