Scar Cover

My friend swore by Bio-oil for a deep scar on her chin. She said it became less obvious You can get it in Boots etc

Hi Sparklefizz you can get a mini palette of Dermacolor which is excellent for covering scars. The palette has 16 different shades which you can mix and change according to the season and to your differing skin tones. The same company has a 'fixing powder' which helps make the colour waterproof. It's quite readily available on ebay and not too expensive, I think I paid less than £20 for the palette and it lasts ages. good luck.

We used dermacolour in the salon for covering all sorts of things.
You'd be amazed how many brides with tattoos choose dresses that show them off, then decide it doesn't look amazing!
I can't remember using it to fill scars but should think if anything can it can. It's waterproof too so stays until you want to remove it.( within reason?)

Dermacolour is fantastic , I am sure you will get some good results with practise . Leichner also does stage make up which is very thick and covers everything , you can buy both through ebay . Bio oil is a waste of time and money (in my opinion) I would not bother , it did nothing for a scar I have xx

Thank you, Tallulah, PamelaJ andf77ms for suggesting Dermacolour. I sent off for a sample kit via Amazon, and it is brilliant. I am really pleased with the results.
