My one neighbour is a 97 year old widow. I don't think she's into football! The other side are a young Muslim couple. I don't think they like football.
Patronising much. Mother in law was an Arsenal fan and watched their televised matches until she died aged 99. She did a tour of the Emirates Stadium for her 90th birthday with Charlie George who ran out of puff before she did.
People where I live have a choice of two. Most have a "favourite". I have been an active supporter for 68 years, apart from times of childbirth and similar! On one side my neighbours support both teams. On the other side my neighbour is Turkish, so I presume in this coming week he will support a Turkish side coming here to play us! We've been out to our local Turkish restaurant today and we are all very excited. ALL of us.
No idea but I do know which cars supporters own. We live very close to a football stadium and every match day the roads are chock a block with the supporters' cars. Always the same ones parked outside our house, so we see whole families arriving.
Tottenham Hotspur, he has an Emirates’ Stadium plaque on his shed. No idea about the neighbour on the other side.
Ooh he supports Tottenham but has an Emirates Stadium plaque which is where their deadly rivals Arsenal play. Does he use the plaque to throw stones at 😂
I used to live next door to the ultimate football idiot fan: it was Preston North End this and Preston North End that. The house sign and the woodwork was painted blue and white and when he got married (yet again!) the wedding car was decorated with blue and white streamers, flowers, ribbons. I hated bumping into him. His sole topic of "conversation" was Preston North End and he would whinge and whine at me as if it was MY fault they were playing badly........
