Wimbledon 2013 - my idea of heaven. Is it yours?

The best Wimbledon by far, in my humble opinion. As for the CHAMPION...I'm lost for words.

Arrived at my church meeting just after five o'clock on tenterhooks with my son texting me a blow by blow account. Not good enough - we switched on the TV and watched the last few points - the neighbours must have thought we were a very lively bunch this evening as we clapped and cheered Andy's win. I'm pleased for him, but absolutely delighted that the people of Dunblane have reason to celebrate in style this evening.

Loads....in nervous energy! Plus the German grand prix, the rugby, tour de france....bit of racing....exhausted....just watching! Great!

It's hard work, all this sport, isn't it . Wonder how many calories I've burned off this past two weeks?

I don't think you'll find it hard to catch up, Tegan. The usual battles, Warwick is still kingmaking (not for long) and Elizabeth reckons she's having a boy.

I still haven't caught up with the last two episodes; d'you think it matters [probably wouldn't understand it even if I did].

I wish I'd had the courage to watch the last few minutes, but I was pacing up and down the utility room listening to the crowd reaction on the telly. This guy is the real deal now, and I think he can go on and win again next year. I'm so happy for the people of Dunblane. There's so much more to sport than just winning; it's all about triumph over adversity and faith and hope and redemption [and stuff like that ]. Happy days! [Now for the Tour de France...]

P.S. I didn't see the final point. I couldn't watch. Opened my eyes when I heard the thunderous applause.

Oh what a match...and what a wonderful champion...I'm dancing around the room with joy.

Well, that's Wimbledon and what an exciting fortnight! Now for real life again!

Ooooh, I don't think I've been so excited since Arthur Ashe's final all those years ago. Absolutely stupendous. I'm thrilled to bits for him.

What an incredible Wimbledon it has been, life will seem very quiet after this! Brilliant, Andy - job done!

Hey I'm very happy he won and so glad that he may get Sports Personality of the Year,but imo I did find some of the moaning he did on court un-necessary,his girlfriend is so so pretty I wonder if a wedding will be in the pipeline now he has achieved his ambition.

I think we know now who is going to be anointed BBC Sportsperson of the Year.

Just had a look at the threads. After all the excitement it looks like we're back to trimming our lady gardens and Andie has been accused of barking at 6am. Maybe he already knew the result?

I wonder if Andy will ever play better? What a champion. Fantastic tennis, two supreme athletes. Brilliant and great to see him smiling.

I'm happy for his lovely, supportive girlfriend. She is so dignified and must have been so anxious in that last game.
