I have a contactless payment facility on my card which I have never used as I am worried about someone getting my details. Have you got any advice please?

How safe are contactless payments, it seems just a little bit too easy as a payment method?

Please Tony, can you tell everyone about the scam where the "policeman from a London Police station" rings you that you check the number they ask you to call TO USE ON ANOTHER PHONE! Your landline is kept open and a helpful person will "come and collect your debit/credit card"! Sorry, this isn't a question, but a helpful hint Tony could give out to stop anyone being scammed!

If we mistakenly click on an email which we then believe to be fraudulent - what do we immediately need to do in order to protect our information.

I use my PC a lot to browse the internet..my new favourite hobby. I'm aware that there are people out there trying to scam or Phish however one thing that worries me is anyone able to remote access my computer whilst I'm using my pc (we use wifi) I recall at work that if we had a problem with a computer and we contact head office & you could see the cursor moving around 'on its own' and I wondered how that was possible.

Any tips for creating memorable, different for each website, secure passwords for all the online accounts we need these days? I constantly forget them unless I write them down (not really the idea!).

Do we really need to buy those special wallets to keep our contactless cards in ?

Like many others, my life exists
on line; bank, insurances, investments, utilities, purchases - you name it..... I tend to be a bit gung ho and blase about the whole thing but recently, especially while trying to organise my life via a mobile phone while abroad for a few months have suffered an intense attack of the jitters. I just want to return to the days when everything was simple, involving paper, pen, envelope and stamp or purely talking to someone behind a desk who smiled and was delighted to help you! Perhaps in the not too distant future, when the balloon finally goes up, we may return to this way of life ?
