Everyone has different styles when it comes to decorating the house for Christmas; some of us have our go-to decorations while others like to mix it up with different themes or something new each year. Homebase would like to know what you'd pick from their range to refresh your collection of decorations and have on display in your home (budget no issue smile).

Here’s what Homebase has to say: “At Homebase we have everything you need to make your Christmas sparkle, from trees and baubles, to giant inflatables and twinkly lights. Click here to check out our Christmas range and please share your favourite decorations below.”

How about this snowy tree? Or a Poinsettia Wreath for your door? Or even some cute Santa fairy lights?

To get you in the mood, here's some tips on decorating your tree:

Have a look at the site and share what would make it into your basket this year! Everyone who posts on the thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

One of these really long strings of white lights would brighten up my conservatory beautifully.

Christmas tree lights to replace my several existing sets would be lovely. I've got about 4 sets of lights; all too short and in different shades of white. One good long set that would cover the whole tree would be great.

The 6.5 ft pre lit Frasier Christmas tree. I think it’s time I got one of these as I only keep a tree for the few days the family visit and I could bring this out every year.

I have been decorating Christmas trees for years . I can't quite see that I need any more decorations for a while. I have bought a lot of new decorations in recent years. No black Christmas trees for me. Has that fad gone yet?

Masses of poinsettia and other plants plus some lovely scented hyacinths which can be decorated with mini lights to create a seasonal theme.

I'd love the Polar Bear, Penguin and Santa glass baubles to adorn a new tree. My grandsons would love it and it would be a big improvement on the plain ones we have now.

I think the Father Christmas & the Snowman would look very fine dangling their extendable legs each side of the mantlepiece.

I would love to get some smart glass decorations now that the kids have grown up. I'd also love to get some Holly.

Nothing whatsoever for me! Don't need it now and never will since everything we have has many memories and since it ain't broke and we won't be fixing it we will be keeping our cash in our pockets. grin

I'd love the singing reindeer and the heart shaped wreath. If I had a tree in the garden I would cover it in blue fairy lights - lots of them! ???

I like the silver tipped wreath ..... it’s nice and Christmassy and makes up for the fact that we rarely get snow in Torquay.
