I posted a thread about shampoo. I was very enthusiastic (because I think it's brilliant) and consequently (I presume) a member reported it as an advertisement, however I confirmed it was a genuine post and the conversation continued.
The thread was deleted by HQ.
I contacted HQ and have asked why it was removed as there was nothing in the 'guidelines' that it seemed to contravene but I have yet to receive a response.
Do HQ email you back?
I feel like a criminal 😢

Don’t worry, just repost your link on this thread and talk about your shampoo, you’re a regular poster not a business after all.

I hope the person who reported your post comes back to apologise.

But if you have a username which is similar to a hair care brand these misunderstandings may happen from time to time.

I wondered that too Maizie. But surely GNHQ should know a regular poster as most of us do.

I’m really interested in trying out your shampoo recommendation!

I think the poster who reported probably did so in good faith without really thinking (it wasn’t me) flowers

Sorry to hear that your post was deleted. Hope you get a reply from GNHQ. If I’m not mistaken, they will reply to your e-mail address.
What’s wrong with posting about a shampoo you liked? Was it the one that makes your hair look thicker?
Don’t worry too much flowers

So sorry, Elless - your thread was mistakenly flagged as spam and removed. We're trying to get it restored but it may be quicker to start another one. We know GNers would love to hear your recommendation so please do try again.
