Aldi advert with spinning wheel

Farnworth thinking about it my card is in my Anazon wallet,and my card is registered to my Tesco account.
The spinning wheel seems to move about where you are clicking to get rid of it so you accidently click on paying for a spin of the wheel.

Never seen it and touchwood don’t get annoying adverts, particularly moving one’s
I am on iPad I wonder if that makes a difference?..

That explains it.
I don't save cards, nor passwords for sites, because no matter how secure a company say their systems are, there will always be very skilled hackers, as we know from recent cyber security breaches.

It might be worth changing your passwords and informing your bank.
..or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Often, when I buy something online, Google offers to save my password and I always say no.
If I said yes, would that mean my card details could be accessed as down-to-earth's seems to have been?

I was using Firefox for GN and getting the annoying ads plus having difficulty posting because the phone keyboard would freeze and simply not respond.
The same happened on MN but on no other forum or site.
Using Chrome I got the ads but not the frozen keyboard.
Then I changed to Ecosia and GN no longer has those problems for me.

I'm hoping i got rid of it. I haven't seen it for a while. Somehow I managed to delete all the cookies. Try clicking on any three dots that appear on the screen above the gransnet page . I had an option appear to delete cookies and that has seemed to work.

Has anyone managed to get rid of the Aldi wheel?
It happened when I was reading posts this time, not halfway through writing one.

They're not stupid women, they are Gransnetters who volunteered for a GN makeover and I know at least one of them is still posting (I saw a post by her today).
She looked lovely both before and after the makeover.

If GN decided to re-use the videos all this time later it's not the fault of the volunteers.

The only on line shopping I do is with Tesco and occasionally Amazon,Granset is becoming a worrying place with all these flipping pop ups and adverts,hard to get rid of them as they dont respond to the cross be clicked on.
I also have an ad blocker

How could that happen? How would anyone have access to your bank details? I'm intrigued, that is worrying.

Can't stop these Aldi spinning wheel scam ads coming up every few mins. Just lost post and looked in notifications. Can't find anything there either. 😡

But what happened today is one of those big brother listening to you.
Last night our daughter phoned us to say that our flight to Seattle has been changed to LA.
Today I’ve had ads for Hotels in LA. I’ve never ever searched for hotels in LA.

Same woman but also with lipstick and a smile, this is GN so how do I get rid of this constant irritation?
