Why do threads no longer appear in time/date order on the Active list

Better brush up my Portuguese then.
At present it is several levels below Colin Firth ‘s in Love Actually!

What's the definition of 'Active'?
Is it just -say- the most recent 50?
Is it when there has been no response for x days?

If it’s written in Portuguese, it helps it stay Active.

Just posted on ‘Corrie’ and it’s way down the list.

Suddenly this seems to have been corrected.

I posted on something the other day, it never showed up on the Active thread, although it was on my ‘I’m On’ and under the relevant forum.

I put it on ‘Quote’ with a question, and it appeared.

Some threads don't even appear in active or trending.
The management posted a reply saying that this wasn't happening

So when HQ say it isn’t happening - it clearly is!
(I had a feeling this excuse had been given, hence my screenshot as evidence)

My thread was called 'Royal threads hidden'. Sorry, I can't do links. It's in 'site stuff'.

It is extremely irritating.

I have noticed this as well. I posted yesterday and the thread appeared about sixth on the active list although my post was time dated the most recent.
