TV Game/Quiz shows

Have been on Countdown and another quiz that was on Channel 5 many moons ago. Both were interesting experiences. Which one have you auditioned for? Have pm,'d you as well.

I was on Fifteen to One back in 1997, didn`t win though.
Tried for Family Fortunes, but they mustn`t have liked the family photo as we never heard back!

DH was on that program with Phil Scofield it was on a Saturday. They broadcast the digits of a phone number and if yours had them in any order you rang in for a place on the following week's show.
What was it called ?
We had a lovely day, chauffeured across London and some great food.

Many decades ago I was in a University Challenge team. We made it through several rounds.

DD and I were on an Antiques programme, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. DD and I got the commemorative plate, but I am not sure where it is, so cannot check the name.

Sister was on Mastermind many years ago. Did quite well but was disappointed that she "messed up" (her words) the specialist subject questions.

I have been one of the hundred people asked a Pointless question. I remember that I knew very little about Chris Evans.

How is that done pit?

Lully they use online surveys. I am signed up to several companies and they don't tell you what the survey is for but the Pointless ones are obvious as you have a hundred second countdown to answer a typical question. The people are chosen randomly and I haven't had any for a while.

Was it Talking Telephone Numbers, Ninathenana - it was entertaining but disappeared from the schedules.
