Help! WTF is RTFT? It's all just too hard. I much prefer to type the word. When I've tried the acronyms the autospeller thingy takes over and it's not pretty by that stage. ?

It seems only v recently that all this was discussed before. People who can’t be bothered to read the full thread make things worse by repeating what’s already been said, leading to still more repetition. If no time to read the full thread, why not just let it go?

What's happened to ones own posts on any thread being highlighted in pink? Mine seem to have gone back to white...

Not on my iPad or my phone still just the original post in green

Just used my phone to look at Gransnet and discovered that later posts by OP are now highlighted in green, but same ones are not highlighted on iPad. Haven’t checked laptop, but hope this will be extended to all devices Gransnet can be viewed on.
Maybe some others will check and confirm that what I’m seeing isn’t just a fluke.

I agree highlighting in green all further comments made by the OP would be helpful.

I don't see OP posts highlighted in green except for the original post - it would be great to see later contributions also highlighted ingreen.

If some posters can already see this, it can't be too much of a problem to extend to all devices (I'm using a PC) I suppose?

I use a phone or my iPad and don’t find it any different to write father in Law to fil I knew what I said wouldn’t be popular but it’s nice to know at least two people feel frustrated by it as well as me

Bluebelle, have to agree with all your points. The only time I'd use an acronym would be if it was too explicit to write out, you know which ones I mean. I too hate this DGc Ddil etc.
