Exactly WW2. Also we never had a slug problem until our hedgehog disappeared.

Sat watching the birds in the garden as they search everywhere for aphids for their chicks.

The roses are being stripped clean.

Just think spraying would deprive them of this vital source if food and many chicks would starve to death before they even got started.

Let the birds do the work?
