Irritating inserts

In the Saturday Times I found 8 inserts in the plastic covered magazine. I did not want any of them and binned them. They'll be recycled but even so I find this practice very annoying. The postman also delivers leaflets I have not asked for. Can it be stopped?

And in any event, can we stop organisations wrapping these things in PLASTIC?

H insists on having 3 Sunday papers delivered weekly. One week I counted 13 pieces of what is known in our household as 'guff'.
I too find it annoying, the plastic wrapper even more so.
