Prayers for my lovely sister please

We will be thinking of you, your sister and your family. As you say, deep breaths, keep calm and think positively.

Your kindness brings tears, but perhaps I need to cry. In my anguish this morning I just knew I needed someone to hear me, and you all did. I've told the family that friends are keeping her and all of us in their thoughts and prayers. Thank you friends.

She's my little sister. She was the image of Princess Anne when they were children, and I keep seeing the pretty little skinny girl with tight blonde curls.

Try very hard to think positively, Sallyforth - we’re all with you and your Sister. And you’re right, the united power of Grans has helped so many and their loved ones on here. So many lovely people recently supported my friend’s Husband, when it seemed at first that hope might be a luxury. I recently posted an update on his current and positive state of health! So wonderful and I’m grateful I asked for help.

Don’t give up. The prayers, good wishes, kind thoughts and positive vibes do make a difference. Stay strong…..for her sake…and the very best of luck for her on Thursday. 🌹

Oh Sallyforth we can all feel your distress right now.
Another here thinking of you all and winging my very best of wishes for a good outcome. Your sister is in the care of a highly specialised team looking after her. Trust in them. They’ve seen it all before and know what to do. as Julian of Norwich said, “All will be well, and all manner of things will be well.”

That mantra has helped me through anxious times on many occasions this past 2 years. I hope it helps you too Sallyforth. 9 times out of 10 our worst fears never materialise.

Your sister will be in my thoughts sallyforth. My love goes to you all.

I will add my voice and thoughts to your sister, in hope that all goes well for her. My DH spent 5 days in ICU waiting for his heart surgery; it is absolutely the best place to be with such good care given.

I'm so moved by the kindness from you all. Perhaps it's the norm if your DH was in the ICU for 5 days before his op too CanadianGran. They have told us that my sister is being prepared for the surgery. I just hope she's not afraid. When this is all over I will tell her about the kindness of so many 'strangers' who prayed for her to get through this. xx
