Do u think I'm stuck and have a routine?
So I'm a 31 year old turning 32 in December and I never had a bf still living with parents and I've been working at McDonalds for 11 years I don't have any friends I just work and come home. but i sometimes go shopping by myself after work or with a coworker. on Sundays when i get out of work i go out with my parents. But Monday and Tuesday I go out with my mom & go shopping.

Try a USA site we can’t judge your life for you We are a different age group in a different part of the world

I just wanna know your opinion on this
You ve asked this same question 7 times I personally don’t really have an opinion and seems no one else does either

Ok if you insist
If you’re happy carry on if you’re not happy change it

I would say, join a club. Be it, crafting, chess, bridge......whatever....possibly for someone a little older a lawn bowls club - that instant friendship. Even a college course. I was told - no one is going to knock on your door to ask to be your best friend, you need to get out there and speak to people. My mum also had a philosophy....even before she knew what you asking, the answers yes! She never missed out on, a cup of tea, a peice of cake, a trip out or a holiday. She didn't pass away of old age, she wore herself out!

Are you on the right platform? You are only 31.

This is Gransnet.

I just wanna know your opinion on this

Bellanonna Thu 29-Oct-26 00:37:31

Do they have half-term holidays in the US?

NotSpaghetti Thu 29-Oct-26 00:31:17

Why?

Ilovecandy12 Wed 28-Oct-26 23:23:05

But I wanna hear your opinion on this

NotSpaghetti Wed 28-Oct-26 23:20:20

Maybe start something new and see if you like it?

Ilovecandy12 Wed 28-Oct-26 23:19:15

Yes

Grammaretto Wed 28-Oct-26 23:17:24

Are you American?

MollyNew Wed 28-Oct-26 22:55:06

Ok, in my opinion you're questioning your lifestyle choices so you need to make changes. You should ask for advice on a forum more suited to your peer group.

I sometimes think I’m wasting my life & doing nothing with my life because I’m still living with my parents, never had a bf & still working at McDonald for 11 years & on Sunday I go out with my parents. Then on Monday & Tuesday I go shopping with my mom

Cabbie21 Wed 28-Oct-26 22:42:08

Why are you asking?
Has someone suggested your life isn’t fine?

Do your parents want you to move out, perhaps?

Shel1951 Wed 28-Oct-26 22:38:07

If your fine with it then its fine, you have to walk your own path, your young, when you get fed up want a change you can.

I read a book recently that is almost exactly the same as this scenario called The Convenience Store Worker, by a Japanese author.
Very strange, is as if this storyline has been borrowed but tweaked.
Could be a real human or a bot but really and honestly I have too much to think about right now so cheerio.

crazyH Wed 28-Oct-26 22:33:51

You wanna move on to mumsnet ……..

Ilovecandy12 Wed 28-Oct-26 22:25:35

I’m a real human being though

Wyllow3 Wed 28-Oct-26 22:23:54

I suspect a crude AI here.

The bot will of course deny it.

I suggest, if you are for real, asking on mumsnet where people are your contemporaries age wise.

Ilovecandy12 Wed 28-Oct-26 22:17:55

What do you think. Do u think it’s fine or no?

Gran22boys Wed 28-Oct-26 22:17:48

Why don’t you ask younger people?

Ilovecandy12 Wed 28-Oct-26 22:16:48

Really why

Oreo Wed 28-Oct-26 22:15:51

I think it’s fine.

Ilovecandy12 Wed 28-Oct-26 22:11:26

I just wanna know what you think about this?

Oreo Wed 28-Oct-26 22:06:02

What do you want us to say?

Oreo Wed 28-Oct-26 22:05:14

Many young people don’t have a job at all, and very many are still living at home at your age.
