It doesn’t matter if we have another pet after we still hold a place in our hearts for beloved companions we shared our lives with for a while like Pipin. 😢

I’m so sorry to hear about your beloved Pippin. It’s so hard to lose a much loved pet. We’ve been through it several times .
Dogs give you unconditional love and often come into our lives when we most need them.
Give yourself time to grieve and remember you gave him a wonderful life .
And I’m so glad you had a kindly compassionate vet. We’ve also been lucky with our previous 2 dogs .

Its the awful part of having a pet, but... well... i don't know what to say.

I’ve never had a dog but lost a beloved cat a couple of years ago Had to have her put to sleep after only a days realisation she had cancer . Our vet was wonderful, she died in my arms. I feel so sorry for you big lump in my throat at the moment

So sorry you have lost your poodle. We had one years ago and very heartbroken when he died. The absence is so painful 🥀
