Foodwise our cats aren't over fussy, which is surprising considering they are French.
Their "takeaways" diet over the years has been extensive though. In their homeland it was mice and voles from the fields, bats from the barn and frogs (of the amphibian kind) from the swimming pool filter. O e day they caught a green woodpecker. When we moved to London they switched to rats, squirrels, pigeons, and parakeets. They've taken on wild boar and foxes in their time, though thankfully not as food. At 15 years old they haven't done badly, a mixed diet has served them well.
